THE ARC HAS TWO RESIDENTIAL OPTIONS: GROUP HOMES AND RESIDENTAL ONE ON ONE. TOGETHER THEY PROVIDE RESIDENTIAL SERVICES FOR PARTICIPANTS RANGING FROM MILD DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES TO PARTICIPANTS WITH INTELLECTUAL DISABILITIES IN NEED OF ONE ON ONE CARE. DURING THE FISCAL YEAR END 2022, THE ARC SERVED 26 RESIDENTS. THE ARC OPERATES 9 RESIDENTIAL HOMES.
HOPE HAVEN ADULT TRAINING CENTER PROVIDES EDUCATION AND TRAINING FOR PERSONS WITH INTELLECTUAL AND DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES. HOPE HAVEN FOCUSES ON INTEGRATION INTO THE COMMUNITY IN AN EFFORT TO ENHANCE SOCIAL SKILLS. PARTICIPANTS ARE ASSISTED WITH BECOMING AS INDEPENDENT AS POSSIBLE. JOB COACH TRAINING IS ALSO PROVIDED TO ASSIST PARTICIPANTS IN OBTAINING AND MAINTAINING EMPLOYMENT.
THE SPECIAL OLYMPICS PROVIDES FOR OPPORTUITIES IN THE SPECIAL OLYMPIC GAMES FOR PERSONS IN THE AREA THAT QUALIFY TO COMPETE.
