THE LEGACY YMCA IS A CHARITABLE AND CHRISTIAN FAITH BASED COMMUNITY SERVICE ORGANIZATION THAT INCLUDES MEN, WOMEN, AND CHILDREN OF ALL AGES, ABILITIES, INCOMES, RACES AND RELIGIONS. WE ARE DEDICATED TO BUILDING STRONG KIDS, STRONG FAMILIES AND STRONG COMMUNITIES BY PUTTING CHRISTIAN PRINCIPLES INTO PRACTICE THROUGH PROGRAMS THAT PROMOTE HEALTHY LIFESTYLES, STRONG VALUES, LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT AND COMMUNITY INTERACTION. OUR YMCA WELCOMES INDIVIDUALS REGARDLESS OF THEIR ABILITY TO PAY AND OFFERS LOW FEES AND FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE FOR PARTICIPATION. OUR YMCA WAS FOUNDED AND IS LED BY REPRESENTATIVE VOLUNTEERS FROM OUR COMMUNITY. IN ADDITION TO POLICY VOLUNTEERS, THE Y IS STRENGTHENED BY VOLUNTEER LEADERSHIP IN ROLES AS MENTORS, COACHES, TEACHERS, AND PEER GROUP HELPERS.
