THE MAIN ACCOMPLISHMENT IS TO PROMOTE LEADERSHIP IN PUTNAM COUNTY, TN THROUGH 1 ORIENTATION AND 8 TOPIC-ORIENTED, ONE-DAY SEMINARS. EXPENSES FOR THE PROGRAM ITSELF WERE $4,073 AND THERE WERE 37 GRADUATES FOR FY 23-24. PROGRAM ATTENDEES ARE DIVIDED INTO GROUPS AND MUST DO A COMMUNITY PROJECT TO GRADUATE FROM THE PROGRAM. SOME PROJECTS COST NOTHING LIKE DOING A SURVEY TO BENEFIT THE CITY, BUT SOME TEAMS GET DONATIONS FOR THEIR PROJECTS. ONE OF THE PROJECTS FOR THIS YEAR WAS CLEANING UP THE DOWNTOWN AREA AND ANOTHER WAS PLACING COMMUNITY BOOK BOXES IN DIFFERENT PARTS OF TOWN WHERE ANYONE CAN DONATE READING MATERIAL FOR PASSERSBY TO TAKE AND READ.
