DAY CARE SERVICES WERE PROVIDED TO 49 CHILDREN DURING NORMAL SCHOOL AND BUSINESS HOURS. THE CENTER PRIMARILY SERVES CHILDREN OF TEENAGE PARENTS THAT ARE ENROLLED IN HOWARD HIGH SCHOOL AND WHO ARE WILLING TO PARTICIPATE IN PARENTING AND CHILD DEVELOPMENT COURSES TAUGHT AT THE TEEN LEARNING CENTER. SERVICES PROVIDED DURING THE YEAR ALSO INCLUDED WELL BABY CHECKS, IMMUNIZATION CHECKS, SPEECH, HEARING AND VISUAL CHECKS, AND A WIC CLINIC FOR SEVERAL MOTHERS.
