SINCE 1982, CHILD CARE RESOURCES INC. (CCRI) HAS BEEN THE DRIVING FORCE BEHIND CHILD CARE SERVICES FOR FAMILIES ACROSS THE ECONOMIC SPECTRUM IN THE CENTRAL CAROLINAS. BEYOND ITS DIRECT SERVICE AREA, CCRI ALSO PLAYS A CRITICAL ROLE AT THE STATE AND REGIONAL LEVELS BY LEADING SEVERAL KEY STATEWIDE INITIATIVES, SERVING AS ONE OF THREE AGENCIES THAT CO-LEAD THE NC CHILD CARE RESOURCE AND REFERRAL COUNCIL, AND ADVOCATING FOR SYSTEMIC IMPROVEMENTS THROUGH AN ARRAY OF SUPPORTIVE SERVICES FOR YOUNG CHILDREN, THEIR FAMILIES, AND EARLY EDUCATORS AND PROGRAM ADMINISTRATORS.
