THE SOCIETY IS ORGANIZED EXCLUSIVELY FOR SCIENTIFIC AND EDUCATION PURPOSES AS SPECIFIED IN SECTION 501(C)(3). THE PARTICULAR PURPOSE IS TO ENCOURAGE AND SUPPORT ECONOMIC RESEARCH BY ISSUING PUBLICATIONS ON ECONOMIC SUBJECTS AND BY HOSTING CONFERENCES TO DISSEMINATE NEW IDEAS IN ECONOMICS.

WE HOSTED OUR ANNUAL SUMMER CONFERENCE FOR SEVERAL HUNDRED PRESENTERS AND PARTICIPANTS AT THE UNIVERSITY OF WISCONSIN, MADISON IN JUNE 2022.
WE HOSTED TWO ACADEMIC SESSIONS AT THE 2022 MEETINGS OF THE AMERICAN ECONOMIC ASSOCIATION. THE MEETINGS WERE HELD IN A HYBRID FORMAT WITH SOME PARTICIPANTS ATTENDING IN PERSON AND OTHERS JOINING VIA ZOOM.
