THE MISSION OF WNY HEROES IS TO PROVIDE VETERANS, MEMBERS OF THE ARMED SERVICES, AND THE WIDOWS AND CHILDREN OF DECEASED VETERANS WITH ACCESS TO ESSENTIAL SERVICES, FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE AND RESOURCES THAT SUPPORT THEIR LIVES AND SUSTAIN THEIR DIGNITY.

HEROES' BRIDGE - WNY HEROES PROVIDED GRANTS TO COMBAT VETERANS AND THEIR FAMILIES FOR UP TO 3 MONTHS RENT, MORTGAGE, UTILITIES, FOOD, AND HOLIDAY MEALS.
PAWSITIVE FOR HEROES - WNY HEROES PROVIDED COMBAT VETERANS WITH A SERVICE DOG & TRAINING TO BENEFIT FROM MEDICAL ISSUES, INCLUDING PTSD.
OPERATION B.O.O.T.S. - BROUGHT VETERANS AND THEIR FAMILIES TOGETHER IN A CASUAL, NON-CLINICAL, NON-THREATENING SETTING IN SAFE, FUN ENVIRONMENTS THAT FOSTER TEAMWORK, NETWORKING, AND FRIENDSHIP.
OTHER PROGRAMS AND SERVICES - ADOPT-A-HERO'S FAMILY: TO DONATE ITEMS TO VETERANS AND THEIR FAMILIES THAT ARE IN NEED. WNY HEROES ALSO PROVIDED SCHOLARSHIPS TO THE CHILDREN OF VETERANS. OPERATION AUTOMOTIVE: ASSISTED VETERANS IN THE COMMUNITY WHO WERE NOT ABLE TO AFFORD THE INITAL COSTS OF A VEHICLE, OR THE COSTS OF REPAIRING A VEHICLE THEY ALREADY OWNED. OPERATION BUBBA: OFFSETED THE BURDEN OF HEALTH CARE EXPENSES FOR SERVICES DOGS.
