NEW JERSEY REENTRY CORPORATION PROVIDES CRITICAL SERVICES FOR THOSE PERSONS WHO HAVE BEEN COURT-INVOLVED. ITS PURPOSE IS TO ENROLL AND PROVIDES SERVICES INCLUDING ADDICTION TREATMENT, SOBER TRANSITIONAL HOUSING, AND TRAINING AND EMPLOYMENT, LINKAGE TO HEALTH CARE SERVICES, MOTOR VEHICLE IDENTIFICATION AND LEGAL SUPPORT, FOR INDIVIDUALS WITH A DIAGNOSED MENTAL HEALTH AND/OR SUBSTANCE USE DISORDER, WHO HAVE BEEN ARRESTED, INCARCERATED AND SENTENCED THROUGH THE JUDICIAL SYSTEM.

ONE-STOP OFFENDER PROGRAM: -IS DESIGNED TO HELP STRATEGIES THAT ADDRESS THE CHALLENGES POSED BY OFFENDER REENTRY AND RECIDIVISM REDUCTION.-NJRC PROVIDES CRITICALLY NEEDED SERVICES AT TEN SITES IN NORTHERN AND CENTRAL NEW JERSEY FOR 13,613 PERSONS RETURNING FROM STATE PRISON, COUNTY JAIL, ADDICTION TREATMENT, AND COMBAT SERVICE. NJRC PROVIDES: 1) MEDICAL AND BEHAVIORAL SERVICES, 2) LEGAL SERVICES, 3) REGISTRATION AND ENROLLMENT IN FEDERAL AND STATE BENEFITS PROGRAMS, 4) LINKAGE TO STRUCTURED SOBER LIVING SERVICES, AND 5) INDUSTRY-RECOGNIZED EMPLOYMENT TRAINING PROGRAMS AND JOB PLACEMENT.-NJRC PROVIDES MEDICAL AND BEHAVIORAL TREATMENT FOR PROGRAM PARTICIPANTS. IN NEGOTIATING WITH ACUTE CARE HOSPITALS AND FEDERALLY QUALIFIED HEALTH CENTERS (FQHCS), NEW JERSEY REENTRY CORPORATION PROVIDES FOR THE NECESSARY DIAGNOSTIC TESTING, CLINICAL EVALUATION, AND ACCESS TO MEDICAL PROFESSIONALS TO DETERMINE THE MEDICAL NEEDS OF NJRC PARTICIPANTS UPON RELEASE FROM INCARCERATION. NJRC HAS 9,824 PARTICIPANTS ENROLLED IN MEDICAID, WHICH PROVIDES FOR A STABLE SOURCE OF FUNDING FOR MEDICAL AND BEHAVIORAL HEALTHCARE.-IN ADDITION, NJRC HAS ENTERED INTO MEMORANDUMS OF UNDERSTANDING WITH FEDERALLY-SPONSORED CERTIFIED COMMUNITY BEHAVIORAL HEALTH CENTERS (CCBHCS), THE RUTGERS MEDICAL SCHOOL CENTER FOR EXCELLENCE, NEW BRIDGE MEDICAL CENTER, AND TREATMENT PROVIDERS TO ENSURE THAT NJRC PROGRAM PARTICIPANTS HAVE ACCESS TO THE INDUCTION OF MEDICATION-ASSISTED TREATMENT THREE (3) TIMES A WEEK AT EACH OF EIGHT (8) SITES, REVIEWS OF DRUG HISTORY AND ADDICTION TREATMENT COMPLIANCE, AND MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES PROVIDED FOR BY BOTH PSYCHOLOGISTS AND PSYCHIATRISTS. PRESENTLY, NJRC HAS 7,860 PERSONS ENROLLED IN THE INTENSIVE OUTPATIENT PROGRAM/MEDICATION ASSISTED TREATMENT WITH 4,847 PERSONS SPECIFICALLY ENROLLED IN MEDICAL TREATMENT AND AN ADDITIONAL 1,894 PERSONS ENROLLED IN PSYCHIATRIC TREATMENT FACILITIES ON AN ONGOING BASIS. -NJRC LEGAL SERVICES ACQUIRED OR RESTORED 2,134 MVC IDENTIFICATIONS WHILE OBTAINING 2,088 BIRTH CERTIFICATES. PURSUANT TO STATE STATUTE, NJRC VITIATED OUTSTANDING FINES AND LIABILITIES OF NJRC PROGRAM PARTICIPANTS THROUGH MONETIZING TIME SERVED IN COUNTY CORRECTIONAL FACILITIES AND STATE PRISONS.-NJRC SERVED 2,620 PROGRAM PARTICIPANTS ENROLLED IN NJRC CASE MANAGEMENT DURING THE FISCAL YEAR 2021, AS WELL AS 2,192 PERSONS, WHO WERE RELEASED PURSUANT TO THE PUBLIC HEALTH EMERGENCY FOR AN ANNUAL TOTAL OF 4,936 PERSONS. THE PRESENT OVERALL TOTAL NUMBER OF PROGRAM PARTICIPANTS IS 13,613 INCLUDING NON-PHE AND PHE, AS WELL AS THOSE PARTICIPANTS ENROLLED THROUGH COUNTY JAILS, ADDICTION TREATMENT, AND ALTERNATIVE DIVERSIONARY PROGRAMS.
PRE-APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAM:-THE SIGNIFICANT GROWTH IN PROGRAM PARTICIPANT MEMBERSHIP PROVIDED NJRC WITH CERTAIN ADVANTAGES, INCLUDING PARTICIPATING MORE VIGOROUSLY IN TRAINING AND EMPLOYMENT WITH CISCO CERTIFICATION FOR NETWORKING TECHNICIAN, AS WELL AS PRE-APPRENTICESHIP TRAINING FOR DIESEL MECHANICS LICENSURE. NJRC IS MOVING FORWARD ON A 25,000 TRAINING AND EMPLOYMENT CENTER AS DETAILED BELOW, WHICH WILL PROVIDE "INDUSTRY-RECOGNIZED CREDENTIALS AND LONG-TERM CAREER EMPLOYMENT TRAJECTORY.
