THIS PROGRAM PROVIDES MEDICAL AND DENTAL SERVICES TO UNINSURED AND FINANCIALLY DISADVANTAGED PEOPLE AT THE OPERATION CARE MERCY MEDICAL CLINIC.
THIS PROGRAM PROVIDES TRANSITIONAL HOUSING AND MENTORING FOR WOMEN AND CHILDREN TO HELP MOVE RESIDENTS FROM HOMELESSNESS TO SELF-RELIANCE; THIS PROGRAM ALSO INCLUDES A CHILD-ENRICHMENT PROGRAM THAT HELPS BREAK THE CYCLE OF POVERTY BY PROVIDING SHELTERED CHILDREN WITH TUTORING AND OTHER LIFE-ENRICHING EXPERIENCES.
THIS PROGRAM INCLUDES EMERGENCY FOOD, CLOTHING, AND HOUSEHOLD FURNISHINGS ASSISTANCE TO PEOPLE FACING CRISIS SITUATIONS SUCH AS FLOOD, FIRE, AND JOB LOSS; A THRIFT STORE THAT PROVIDES LOW-COST, QUALITY MERCHANDISE AT AFFORDABLE COSTS; AND A COMMUNITY CHRISTMAS EVENT THAT PROVIDES BLANKETS, HATS, GLOVES, TOYS, AGE-APPROPRIATE LITERATURE ABOUT THE TRUE MEANING OF CHRISTMAS, AND A FOOD BASKET TO CHILDREN FROM FINANCIALLY DISADVANTAGED FAMILIES.
