DBA THE SUNSHINE CENTER IS TO CREATE A SAFE, NEUTRAL, AND NURTURING ENVIRONMENT FOR CHILDREN AND FAMILIES IN OUR COMMUNITY THROUGH EDUCATION FOR IMPROVED PARENTING AND LIFE SKILLS, COUNSELING AND REFERRAL SERVICES TO BREAK THE CYCLE OF ABUSE, TO PROVIDE SUPERVISED VISITATION BETWEEN CHILDREN AND THEIR NON-CUSTODIAL FAMILY MEMBERS, TO PROVIDE CHARITABLE INTERVENTIONS TO SUPPORT FAMILIES IN CRISIS, AND TO STRENGTHEN PUBLIC AWARENESS AND UNDERSTANDING OF THE IMPACT ABUSE HAS ON FAMILIES AND CHILDREN.
