OASIS WOMEN'S SHELTER IS A DOMESTIC VIOLENCE PROGRAM FOR BATTERED WOMEN AND THEIR DEPENDENT CHILDREN. OASIS PROVIDES A SAFE PLACE FOR WOMEN AND THEIR CHILDREN TO ESCAPE THE TRAUMA AND DEVASTATION OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE. OASIS PROVIDES GROUP AND INDIVIDUAL COUNSELING SERVICES, INDIVIDUAL AND FAMILY THERAPY SERVICES, COURT ADVOCACY, A CHILDREN'S PROGRAM, EMERGENCY SERVICES, A PREGNANCY PROGRAM, COMMUNITY EDUCATION, A HOUSING PROGRAM, AND A FINANCIAL LITERACY PROGRAM. OASIS SERVES OVER 2,000 PEOPLE IN DAVIESS, HANCOCK, HENDERSON, MCLEAN, OHIO, UNION AND WEBSTER COUNTIES IN KENTUCKY THROUGH ALL PROGRAMS EACH YEAR THROUGH LEGAL ADVOCACY, CASE MANAGEMENT, CHILD DEPENDENT INDIVIDUAL SERVICES, ECONOMIC STABILITY ADVOCACY, EMERGENCY FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE AND ADVOCACY, GROUP AND INDIVIDUAL COUNSELING, AND TRANSPORTATION SERVICES FROM INFANTS TO SENIOR CITIZENS.
