Describe the Organization's Mission:
Part 3 - Line 1
CONNECT2HELP FACILITATES CONNECTIONS BETWEEN PEOPLE WHO NEED HUMAN SERVICES AND THOSE WHO PROVIDE THEM. INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES NEED TO KNOW WHERE TO CALL FOR ASSISTANCE IN TIMES OF DIFFICULTY. HOWEVER, THEY ARE OFTEN UNABLE TO OBTAIN AVAILABLE SERVICES QUICKLY AND EASILY DUE TO LACK OF KNOWLEDGE AND/OR FRAGMENTATION OF THE SERVICE DELIVERY SYSTEM. THE PURPOSE OF CONNECT2HELP IS TO HELP PEOPLE FIND THEIR WAY TO AVAILABLE SERVICES.
Describe the Organization's Program Activity:
Part 3 - Line 4a
CONNECT2HELP PERSONNEL, STAFFING THEIR 24 HOUR/DAYS, 7 DAYS/WEEK, 365 DAYS/YEAR 2-1-1 CALL CENTER, ANSWER RATE THIS YEAR WAS 81%. FOR ALL INCOMING CALLS. THIS FISCAL YEAR CONNECT2HELP ANSWERED OVER 178,000 CALLS. ONLY 10% OF ALL NEEDS WERE CONSIDERED UNMET.

WE WERE ABLE TO GO FROM A 54% ANSWER RATE TO AN 80% ANSWER RATE FOR A LARGER AREA OF CRISIS CALLS.
MANY CONNECT2HELP CALLERS ARE ELIGIBLE FOR SNAP (FORMERLY FOOD STAMPS) BENEFITS, AND IN INDIANA MANY PEOPLE WHO ARE ELIGIBLE FOR SNAP WERE NOT PARTICIPATING; CONNECT2HELP AND OTHER INDIANA 2-1-1 AGENCIES PROVIDED A SNAP "IN-REACH" PROGRAM.
