YOUTH JOBS PROGRAM - UNCOM HAS MANAGED ITS SUCCESSFUL YOUTH JOBS PROGRAMS SINCE 2008 RESULTING IN A CASE MANAGEMENT MODEL FOR OUT-OF-SCHOOL AT-RISK AND YOUTH. OUR PROGRAMMING IS FUNDED BY EMPLOY MILWAUKEE. YOUTH PARTICIPANTS THROUGHOUT THE CITY OF MILWAUKEE AND FROM UNCOM AGENCIES RECEIVE SPECIALIZED TRAINING IN LIFE AND EMPLOYABILITY SKILLS AS WELL AS CASE MANAGEMENT SERVICES, IN ORDER TO COMPLETE HIGH SCHOOL AND CONTINUE ON WITH POST-SECONDARY EDUCATION OR BECOME EMPLOYED.
OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES
UNCOM IS THE ADMINISTRATOR FOR THE SAFER CITY MKE HARM REDUCTION GRANT PROGRAM. THE WORK UNDER THIS GRANT BEGAN IN APRIL 2023 AND IS TO BE COMPLETED IN DECEMBER 2024.
COLLECTIVE ENGAGEMENT - UNCOM IS A COLLABORATIVE ORGANIZATION COMPRISED OF EIGHT (8) MEMBER ORGANIZATIONS.
