IMPROVING HOMES. INSPIRING HOPE. WE ARE DEDICATED TO CONSTRUCTING SAFE AND ACCESSIBLE MODIFICATIONS SUCH AS WHEELCHAIR RAMPS, BATHROOM UPGRADES, FENCING, CUSTOM THERAPY AIDS, ETC. FOR CHILDREN WITH DISABILITIES ACROSS SOUTHERN WISCONSIN.

LOGAN'S HEART AND SMILES HAS ONE PROGRAM WHICH IS TO MODIFY HOMES FOR CHILDREN WITH SPECIAL NEEDS TO MAKE THEIR AND THEIR CAREGIVERS DAILY ROUTINES LESS DIFFICULT BY EASING THE BURDEN(S) BROUGHT ON BY THEIR DIAGNOSIS AND THE CHALLENGES ASSOCIATED WITH IT. THIS PROGRAM ON AVERAGE HELPS 15 CHILDREN PER YEAR BY IMPROVING SAFE ACCESS IN AND OUT OF THEIR HOME VIA RAMPS, KEEPING THEM SAFE IN THEIR BEDS WITH A CUSTOM MADE BED, INSTALLING PERIMETER FENCING TO KEEP CHILD WITH FLIGHT RISKS SECURE IN THEIR YARDS, INSTALLING IN-HOME THERAPY AIDES TO EASE TENSIONS/EMOTIONS, HANDRAILS TO HELP NAVIGATE STAIRWELLS, MODIFYING BATHROOMS TO INCLUDE ROLL-IN SHOWERS, ETC. WE USE VOLUNTEER LABOR TO COMPLETE THESE PROJECTS AND MATERIALS ARE PAID FOR WITH DONATIONS.
