TEACHERS, STUDENTS, AND THEIR FAMILIES, WHO ARE UNABLE TO PAY FOR TICKETS ARE ADMITTED FREE, AND THE CONCERTS THEMSELVES SUBSIDIZED FROM THE DONATIONS AND GRANTS. THESE LIVE CONCERTS BRING EXCEPTIONAL CHAMBER MUSIC TO NORTH FLORIDA AND SOUTHEAST GEORGIA. THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC REQUIRED THE FESTIVAL TO CANCEL MANY CONCERST THIS YEAR, MOST OF WHICH WERE RESCHEDULED TO 2021 AND 2022. MUCH OF THE UNDESIGNATED DONATION REVUENUE WAS USED TO SUPPORT 4C BELOW.

AICMF PROVIDES PIANO AND VIOLIN LESSONS FOR CHILDREN OF THE COMMUNITY, WHOSE FAMILIES ARE UNABLE TO PAY FOR THESE PRIVATE LESSONS. THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES THE INSTRUMENTS AND USES SPACE AT THE LOCAL BOYS AND GIRLS CLUB ON AMELIA ISLAND, SO THAT CHILDREN CAN LEARN AND PRACTICE NEAR THEIR HOMES, IN A SAFE AND STRUCTURED ENVIRONMENT, AFTER SCHOOL. DURING THE PANDEMIC THE FACILITY WAS CLOASED, AND THE MUSIC LESSONS WERE TEMPORARILY SUSPENDED. THE ORGANIZATION ALSO CONDUCTS A SPRING INSTITUTE FOR PROFESSIONAL MUSICIANS, LED BY THE ARTISTIC DIRECTOR AND A WORLD- RENOWNED CHAMBER MUSIC GROUP. THE INSTITUTE IS PROVIDED FREE TO A COMPETITIVELY CHOSE GROUP OF YOUNG ADULT MUSICIANS. AICMF SUPPORTS THEIR TRAVEL AND HOUSING EXPENSES FOR THIS ONE WEEK PROGRAM IN JUNE ON AMELIA ISLAND.

THE 2020 COVID PANDEMIC, WHICH CLOSED OR SEVERELY CURTAILED AUDIENCES AT INDOOR VENUES, REQUIRED THE ORGANIZATION TO CANCEL MANY IN-PERSON CONCERTS. A LOCAL FILM COMPANY WAS HIRED TO RECORD A NUMBER OF CONCERTS, WHICH WERE PRESENTED TO VERY SMALL AUDIENCES. THESE HIGH QUALITY RECORDINGS WERE THEN MADE AVAILABLE TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC ONLINE ON OUR WEBSITE, FOR FREE WITH REQUESTS FOR VOLUNTARY DONATIONS TO THE ORGANIZATION.
