THE KAILAKURI HEALTH CARE PROJECT PROVIDES HEALTHCARE SERVICES TO THE PEOPLE OF BANGLADESH, REGARDLESS OF RELGIOUS AFFILIATION. THE PROJECT EMPLOYS LOCAL STAFF WHO ARE TRAINED ON-THE-JOB PARAMEDICS, AND OFFER LOW-COST TREATMENT TO POOR PATIENTS WHO CANNOT AFFORD PAY FOR MEDICAL CARE ELSEWHERE.


THE CONGREGATION OF THE MIRACULOUS MEDAL IN KONTUM PROVIDES A FAMILY SCIENCE PROGRAM FOR YOUNG WOMEN FROM OUTLYING VILLAGES FOR A MIDWIFE TRAINING PROGRAM, AND HAVE TRAINED OVER 240 MIDWIVES AND ARE WORKING IN OVER 40 VILLAGES. THEY ALSO ASSIST IN PROVIDING TRANSPORTATION TO HOSPITALS AND CLINICS FOR SPECIALIZED MEDICAL TREATMENTS, SUCH AS, CLEFT SURGERY, SURGERY FOR CLUB FEET AND BURN RECONSTRUCTION FOR CHILDREN AND ADULTS.


THE NGUYEN NGA CENTER IS A PRIVATELY-RUN REHABILITATION CENTER IN QUI NHON, VIETNAM THAT HELPS PEOPLE WITH PHYSICAL AND MENTAL DISABILITIES. THE CENTER ASSISTS INDIVIDUALS WITH DISABILITIES THROUGH EDUCATION, SCHOLARSHIPS, VOCATIONAL TRAINING AND LIFE SKILLS, WITH THE GOAL OF MAXIMIZING THE PERSONS CONFIDENCE AND INDEPENDENCE.


THE ORDER OF ST. VINCENT DEPAUL, IN KONTUM, PROVIDES CARE FOR 30 YOUNG GIRLS IN THE COMPOUND SO THEY CAN RECEIVE AN EDUCATION. THEY ALSO RUN A VILLAGE FEEDING PROGRAM FOR 3 POOR VILLAGES TO FEED THE CHILDREN AND THE ELDERLY.
