KINNERET COUNCIL ON AGING, INC. (THE "COUNCIL") IS A NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION FORMED IN 1970 AS A CONSTITUENT AGENCY OF THE JEWISH FEDERATION OF GREATER ORLANDO, INC. TO MEET THE UNIQUE GERIATRIC NEEDS OF THE JEWISH COMMUNITY AND TO PROVIDE HOUSING AND SUPPORTIVE SERVICES TO JEWISH SENIORS AND THE CENTRAL FLORIDA COMMUNITY AT LARGE. TO ACCOMPLISH ITS PURPOSE, THE COUNCIL HAS SPONSORED THE DEVELOPMENT AND OPERATION OF THE KINNERET APARTMENTS AND RESIDENT PROGRAMS PROVIDING NUTRITION, SOCIALIZATION, TRANSPORTATION, AND EDUCATIONAL AND RELIGIOUS EVENTS.
