HEART TO HONDURAS (THROUGH CORAZON PARA HONDURAS) IS EQUIPPING COMMUNITIES WITH SUSTAINABLE MODELS OF WORK AND DEVELOPMENT TO PROVIDE CLEAN WATER, SECURE HOUSING, ACCESSIBLE MEDICAL CARE, A CONSISTENT FOOD SUPPLY, ADEQUATE FAIR EMPLOYMENT, AS WELL AS SPIRITUAL AND EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES. IN 2021, REBUILDING AND REPAIRS AFTER THE 2020 HURRICANES CONTINUED. HEART TO HONDURAS BUILT OR IMPROVED HOMES, IMPROVED COMMUNITY SANITATION AND INFRASTRUCTURE, PROVIDED SEEDS FOR AGRICULTURAL DEVELOPMENT AND CONTINUED TRAINING FOR COMMUNITIES TO COLLABORATE ON PROJECTS. OVER 3,000 PEOPLE BENEFITTED FROM THESE TRANSFORMATIVE INITATIVES. THE CAMP CONTINUES TO PROVIDE OPPORTUNITIES FOR YOUTH TO ESCAPE THE CITY AND LEARN ABOUT JESUS. IN 2021, 340 YOUTH ATTENDED THE CAMP.

HEART TO HONDURAS PAIRS SISTER CHURCHES CREATING PARTNERSHIPS BETWEEN US AND CENTRAL AMERICAN CHURCHES. IN 2021, 15 PASTORS PARTICIPATED IN THIS MUTUALLY BENEFICIAL RELATIONSHIP. THEY ALSO PROVIDED SUPPORT TO THE PASTORS AND FAMILIES, AND LEADERSHIP TRAINING TO DEVELOP STRONG COMMUNITY RELATIONSHIPS.
4 NORTH AMERICAN TEAMS INVOLVING 20 PEOPLE TRAVELED TO CENTRAL AMERICA TO SERVE ALONGSIDE LOCAL CHURCHES AND INDIVIDUALS. THESE TEAMS WORKED CONSTRUCTING HOMES AND HOME REPAIRS, CHURCH BUILDING AND IMPROVEMENTS, AND LATRINES. THEY PROVIDED MEDICAL ASSISTANCE, CARED FOR THE NEEDS OF COMMUNITY MEMBERS, TRAINED LEADERS, AND ENGAGED IN RELATIONSHIPS THAT WILL HELP THE LOCALS IDENTIFY THEIR OWN RESOURCES AND POTENTIAL. HEART TO HONDURAS ARRANGES TRAVEL, LODGING AND MEALS THROUGH HONDURAN PARTNER CORAZON PARA HONDURAS. HEALTH CARE PROFESSIONALS SAW MORE THAN 300 PATIENTS AND PROVIDED SERVICES WORTH OVER $3,000.
