THE INTERLEDGER FOUNDATION IS A NONPROFIT ADVOCATE FOR THE WEB, PROMOTING INNOVATION, CREATIVITY, AND INCLUSION BY ADVANCING OPEN PAYMENT STANDARDS AND TECHNOLOGIES THAT SEAMLESSLY CONNECT OUR GLOBAL SOCIETY.

INTERLEDGER WORKS TO BROADEN THE DIVERSITY OF VOICES IN THE TECH ECOSYSTEM BY USING THE INTERLEDGER PROTOCOL (ILP) TO POWER A CURRENCY-AGNOSTIC PAYMENTS NETWORK AS A DRIVER FOR DIGITAL FINANCIAL INCLUSION. INTERLEDGER HAD THE FOLLOWING ACCOMPLISHMENTS IN 2022: IN OUR GRANT-MAKING, WE FUNDED 56 PROJECTS IN 24 COUNTRIES WHILE EXPANDING THE PROGRAM AREAS WE FUND. WE HELD A GLOBAL INTERLEDGER SUMMIT THAT BROUGHT TOGETHER DEVELOPERS, ACTIVISTS, AND ENTREPRENEURS TO BUILD ON THE MOMENTUM OF THE FOUNDATION. IN ADDITION, WE LED THE COMMUNITY, ECOSYSTEM, AND PARTNERS TOWARDS ADVANCING THE FUNCTIONALITY OF THE INTERLEDGER PROTOCOL. WE'VE DEVELOPED NEW SERVICES, TOOLS, AND RESOURCES FOR THE STANDARDS WE STEWARD: OPEN PAYMENTS AND WEB MONETIZATION.
