INSPIRED BY GOD'S VALUES, THE SOCIETY OF ST VINCENT DE PAUL, A CATHOLIC LAY ORGANIZATION, LEADS WOMEN AND MEN TO JOIN TOGETHER TO GROW SPIRITUALLY BY OFFERING PERSON-TO-PERSON SERVICE TO THE NEEDY AND SUFFERING IN THE TRADITION OF ITS FOUNDER, BLESSED FREDERIC OZANAM, AND PATRON, ST VINCENT DE PAUL. MEMBERS, WHO ARE KNOWN AS VINCENTIANS, ARE DRAWN FROM EVERY ETHNIC AND CULTURAL BACKGROUND, AGE GROUP AND ECONOMIC LEVEL. VINCENTIANS EMBRACE ALL WORKS OF CHARITY AND JUSTICE. THE SOCIETY COLLABORATES WITH OTHER PEOPLE OF GOOD WILL IN RELIEVING THE NEED AND ADDRESSING ITS CAUSES, MAKING NO DISTINCTION IN THOSE SERVED.

THE SOCIETY OF ST VINCENT DE PAUL DISTRICT COUNCIL OF PASCO HELPS PROVIDE FUNDING TO ITS 8 PASCO COUNTY CONFERENCES, HELPING OVER 5,100 FAMILIES THIS FISCAL YEAR THROUGH ITS 8 FOOD PANTRY OPERATIONS, AS WELL AS PROVIDING FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE WITH RENT, UTILITY AND PRESCRIPTION BILLS. CLOTHING AND FURNITURE VALUED AT 52,000 WAS DONATED TO THOSE IN NEED.
