IN HOME SERVICES PROVIDES APPROXIMATELY 4,324 ADULTS WITH CASE MANAGEMENT, HOMEMAKER, PERSONAL CARE, RESPITE COMPANION, SOCIAL WORK, AND SCREENING & ASSESSMENT SERVICES.SEE SCHEDULE O FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION. CASE MANAGEMENT - MANY SERVICES ARE OFFERED THAT HELP FRAIL SENIORS RETAIN THEIR INDEPENDENCE AND SELF ESTEEM SO THAT THEY CAN REMAIN IN THEIR OWN HOMES. A CASE MANAGER IS ASSIGNED TO EACH CLIENT TO ASSESS THE CLIENT'S NEEDS AND MONITORS THE CLIENT'S CARE ON A MONTHLY BASIS.PERSONAL CARE - HOMEBOUND CLIENTS RECEIVE GENERAL HYGIENE SERVICES, INCLUDING BATH CARE, SHAMPOOS, SHAVES FOR MEN, DRESSING, FEEDING, AMBULATING, ETC.HOMEMAKER - THE HOMEMAKING TEAM PROVIDES LIGHT HOUSEKEEPING AND HOME MANAGEMENT SERVICES.IN-HOME RESPITE - QUALIFIED RESPITE WORKERS PROVIDE A BREAK FOR CAREGIVERS.
NUTRITIONAL SERVICES PROVIDES APPROXIMATELY 2,138 INDIVIDUALS WITH ADULT SERVICES INCLUDING HOME DELIVERED MEALS, CONGREGATE MEALS, NUTRITIONAL EDUCATION, AND NUTRITIONAL OUTREACH.SEE SCHEDULE O FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION.MEALS ON WHEELS - NUTRITIOUS MEALS, WARM CONVERSATION AND REGULAR SAFETY CHECKS ARE PROVIDED TO HOMEBOUND SENIORS LIVING IN ORANGE COUNTY.NEIGHBORHOOD LUNCH PROGRAM WITH TRANSPORTATION - HOT, NUTRITIOUS MEALS IN A SOCIAL ENVIRONMENT ARE PROVIDED WEEKDAYS AT DESIGNATED NEIGHBORHOOD LUNCH SITES IN ORANGE COUNTY.
OTHER SERVICES PROVIDES APPROXIMATELY 2,827 INDIVIDUALS WITH ADULT SERVICES INCLUDING ADULT DAY CARE, LEGAL ASSISTANCE, GUARDIANSHIP, TRANSPORTATION, EMERGENCY RESPONSE AND CONSUMABLE MEDICAL SUPPLIES.SEE SCHEDULE O FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION.STEPPING STONE MEDICAL EQUIPMENT BANK - STEPPING STONE REFURBISHES DONATED MEDICAL EQUIPMENT AND REDISTRIBUTES IT FREE OF CHARGE, OR AT A NOMINAL FEE, TO INDIVIDUALS IN NEED.A SIGNIFICANT NUMBER OF UNPAID VOLUNTEERS DONATE THEIR SERVICES IN SUPPORT OF ALL PROGRAM AREAS OF THE ORGANIZATION.THE ORGANIZATION ALSO RECEIVES CERTAIN SERVICES FOR ITS PROGRAMS AND, UTILIZES SPACE THAT IS PROVIDED AT NO CHARGE. SHOPPING ASSISTANCE IS DEFINED AS ASSISTING A CLIENT IN GETTING TO AND FROM STORES OR SHOPPING ON BEHALF OF A CLIENT, INCLUDING THE PROPER SELECTION OF ITEMS TO PURCHASE. THE SERVICE ALSO INCLUDES STORING PURCHASED ITEMS UPON RETURN TO THE CLIENT'S HOME. AN INDIVIDUAL SHOPPING AIDE MAY ASSIST MORE THAN ONE CLIENT DURING A SHOPPING TRIP.
