FOOD PROGRAM: ONCE AGAIN THE FOOD PROGRAM WAS MINIMAL BECAUSE OF COVID LOCKDOWNS AND BUDGET ISSUES. THE NEEDS ARE FAR GREATER THAN WE CAN MAKE A DENT IN, BUT WE DO WHAT WE CAN IN PASSING OUT FOOD....AS WE CAN.
MEDICAL CLINIC: THE STAFF SAW 1,687 BURN PATIENTS WITH A TOTAL NUMBER OF TREATMENTS OF 6,849. THERE WERE 629 PATIENTS CAME IN WITH CUTS AND THAT RESULTED IN 2,653 PATIENT TREATMENTS.
CONSTRUCTION: PILGRIM HOUSE #29 PILGRAM HOUSE #29 WAS COMPLETED AS SOON AS THE COVID LOCKDOWN LIFTED. MOST OF THE CONSTRUCTION WAS ACCOMPLISHED IN AUGUST WITH FUNDING FROM A GRANT FROM PILGRIM LUTHERAN CHURCH IN INDIANAPOLIS, INDIANA. OTHER CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS: IT WAS TIME FOR REPAIRS TO THE FHL HEADQUARTERS. SEVERAL AREAS NEEDED AND GOT ATTENTION.
CHRISTMAS PARTY FOR CHILDREN INCLUDED FULL MEAL AND DONATED TOYS. DID NOT HAVE CHRISTMAS IN AUGUST BECAUSE OF LOCKDOWN BUT FOLKS CAME THRU FOR HAITI PARTY WITH FUNDING AND GIFTS.
