DOT CONTRACTS: EMPLOYMENT IS PROVIDED FOR CITIZENS WITH DISABILITIES TOPROVIDE JANITORIAL AND LAWN MAINTENANCE SERVICES TO REST AREAS ANDWEIGHT SCALE FACILITIES UNDER A CONTRACT WITH FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OFTRANSPORTATION.
GROUP HOMES: RESIDIENTIAL CARE FOR CITIZENS WITH DISABILITIES THAT HAVECHOSEN TO LIVE MORE INDEPENDENTLY. RESIDENTS ENJOY LIVING IN ACOMFORTABLE HOME IN A FAMILY-LIKE SETTING AND ARE PROVIDED THEIR OWNBEDROOM. EACH HOME ACCOMODATES UP TO TEN PEOPLE. STAFF MEMBERS WORKWITH RESIDENTS PROVIDING THEM WITH SUPPORT AND THE TRAINING NEEDED TOHELP THEM GAIN SKILLS NECESSARY TO LIVE SELF-RELIANTLY.
ADULT DAY TRAINING (ADT): THERE ARE THREE ADT PROGRAMS LOCATED IN LIVEOAK, JASPER, AND MACCLENNY. PARTICIPANTS RECEIVE TRAINING ANDINSTRUCTION IN DAILY LIVING SKILLS. PRE-EMPLOYMENT TRAINING ISAVAILABLE FOR THOSE INDIVIDUALS INTERESTED IN WORKING. PARTICIPANTSHAVE OPPORTUNITIES FOR SOCIALIZATION WITH PEERS AS WELL AS MEMBERS OFTHE COMMUNITY. A VIBRANT MUSIC PROGRAM HAS BEEN ESTABLISHED IN THETRAINING CENTERS AND THE PARTICIPANTS ARE OFTEN ASKED TO PERFORM ATLOCAL GATHERINGS.
