OUR PURPOSE IS TO LEAD THE CONTINUUM OF CARE IN COLLABORATION WITH AGENCIES IN ORDER TO DEVELOP AND PROVIDE INNOVATIVE SOLUTIONS TO REDUCE AND END HOMLESSNESS IN TAMPA-HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY.

Part 3 - Line 4a

HUD PROGRAMS - CONTINUUM OF CARE PROGRAMS, EMERGENCY SOLUTIONS GRANTS, AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANTS THAT PROMOTE THE DEVELOPMENT OF SUPPORTIVE HOUSING AND SUPPORTIVE SERVICES TO ASSIST INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES IN THE TRANSITION FROM HOMELESSNESS AND TO ENABLE THEM TO LIVE AS INDEPENDENTLY AS POSSIBLE.


YOUNGSTOWN APARTMENTS IS A 36 UNIT MULIT-FAMILY RENTAL DEVELOPMENT FOR UNHOUSED AGING MILITARY VETERANS WITH DISABILITIES. FUNDING ORGANIZATIONS INCLUDE TAMPA HILLSBOROUGH HOMELESS INITIATIVE ("THHI"), HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY HEALTH CARE SERVICES, U.S. DEPARTMENT OF THE TREASURY'S CORONOVIRUS STATE AND LOCAL FISCAL RECOVERY FUNDS PASSED THROUGH HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, FLORIDA AND HOUSING FIRST STEPS FORWARD, A FLORIDA NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION.
