SERVED 95,000 MEALS AND MORE THAN 12,000 MOBILE SHOWERS TO THE HOMELESS IN BROWARD COUNTY; PROVIDED CRISIS HOUSING (FAITH IN ACTION) TO 55 FAMILIES IN BROWARD COUNTY; RECOGNIZED LOCALLY AS THE PREMIER PROVIDER OF HOUSING FOR HOMELESS FAMILIES & VETERANS; PROVIDED ACCESS TO RAPID REHOUSING & CASE MANAGEMENT AND EMPLOYMENT SERVICES TO 180 FAMILIES & VETERANS.

HOPE SOUTH FLORIDA IS A FAITH-BASED 501(C)(3) NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION, OPERATING SINCE 1995, THAT HAS PROVIDED EMERGENCY SHELTER, HOUSING ASSISTANCE, AND SUPPORT SERVICES TO THOUSANDS OF HOMELESS FAMILIES AND INDIVIDUALS. OUR GOAL IS TO BRING ABOUT TRANSFORMATION IN THE LIVES OF HOMELESS AND HURTING FAMILIES THROUGH THE PROVISION OF HOUSING SOLUTIONS, BASIC ESSENTIAL FAMILY SUPPORT SERVICES. TO SERVE AS A GUIDING PARTNER IN TRANSFORMING, EDUCATING, AND BRINGING THE FAITH AND COMMUNITY PARTNERS INTO SUPPORTING RELATIONSHIP WITH THOSE SERVED. HOUSING: -IN 2021, HSF PROVIDED ACCESS TO RAPID RE-HOUSING FOR 215 FAMILIES, THIS WAS ACCOMPLISHED USING OUR DEDICATED CASE MANAGEMENT STAFF AS WELL AS A HOUSING AND EMPLOYMENT SPECIALIST TO ENHANCE OUR SERVICES. HSF IS RECOGNIZED AS THE PREMIER ORGANIZATION FOR HOUSING HOMELESS FAMILIES AND VETERANS IN BROWARD COUNTY. SHARED MEALS/MOBILE SHOWERS: -HSF HAS INCREASED ITS MEAL NIGHTS TO 7 PROVIDING 80,400 MEALS IN 2021 AMID THE PANDEMIC AND CHURCH PARTNERSHIPS CLOSE TO 70 CHURCHES IN BROWARD COUNTY. CHURCH PARTNERS PARTICIPATE IN THE PROVISION AND SERVING OF SHARED MEALS, PROVIDE CRISIS HOUSING FOR HOMELESS FAMILIES AT THEIR CHURCH FACILITIES, SERVE AS SUPPORT TEAMS FOR FAMILIES AND VETERANS AND AS BENEVOLENT LANDLORDS INCREASING OPPORTUNITIES FOR RAPID RE-HOUSING FOR HOMELESS FAMILIES AND VETERANS IN BROWARD COUNTY. -OUR MOBILE SHOWERS ARE PROVIDED AS AN ADJUNCT TO OUR SHARED MEAL PROGRAM AND HAS PROVIDED CLOSE TO 8,000 SHOWERS IN 2021.
