TO EQUIP ADULTS WITH SPECIAL NEEDS WITH THE KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND BEHAVIOR NEEDED TO LEAD USEFUL AND PRODUCTIVE LIVES WITH DIGNITY, RESPECT AND INDEPENDENCE. WE SERVE OVER 200 CLIENTS FROM BROWARD AND PALM BEACH COUNTIES, 97% OF WHICH ARE ARE CONSIDERED AT OR BELOW THE POVERTY LEVEL.

HABCO MANUFACTURING: HABCO PROVIDES APPROX. 113 CLIENTS WITH MEANINGFUL AND TRANSFERABLE VOCATIONAL TRAINING AND OPPORTUNITY. CLIENTS ASSEMBLE VARIOUS PRODUCTS SUCH AS LIFE-SAVING EMERGENCY LIGHT BEACONS FOR ACR ELECTRONICS, INC. HABCO ALSO SERVES SOUTH FLORIDA BUSINESSES SUCH AS AEROSPACE TECHNOLOGIES GROUP, INC., BOEING, REAGAN WIRELESS, LOCKHEED MARTIN, AND MANY OTHERS.
PLANT NURSERY: THE PLANT NURSERY PROVIDES APPROX. 18 CLIENTS WITH MEANINGFUL AND TRANSFERABLE VOCATIONAL AND OPPORTUNITY. THE PLANT NURSERY IS ONE OF THE LARGEST BEDDING NURSERIES IN SOUTH FLORIDA AND SERVES LOCAL BUSINESSES WITH HIGH QUALITY PLANTS AND NURSERY PRODUCTS. PROGRAMS IN EDUCATION, ART AND RECREATION (P.E.A.R.): OUR PROGRAMS IN EDUCATION ART AND RECREATION SERVES APPROX. 36 CLIENTS WITH SEVERE DEVELOPMENTAL AND INTELLECTUAL DISABILITIES. CLIENTS IN THESE PROGRAMS RECEIVE HEALTH, EDUCATIONAL AND OTHER NECESSARY SOCIAL SERVICES AND PARTICIPATE IN ARTS, CULTURAL AND RECREATIONAL/PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES.
SUPPORTED EMPLOYMENT: ASSISTS INDIVIDUALS WITH DISABILITIES TO FIND EMPLOYMENT IN THE COMMUNITY. WE PLACE INDIVIDUALS IN JOBS BASED ON THEIR INDIVIDUAL INTERESTS AND NEEDS. OUR CUSTOMIZED JOB TRAINING AND PLACEMENT PROGRAM IS DESIGNED TO HELP OUR CLIENTS BE SUCCESSFUL IN THE WORKPLACE AND SELF-RELIANT.
