ADULT DAY TRAINING:PROVIDES INDEPENDENT LIVING SKILLS AND VOCATIONAL TRAINING. SKILLS TRAINING FOCUSES ON BUILDING AN INDIVIDUAL'S PERSONAL INDEPENDENCE SKILLS THAT WILL ULTIMATELY ALLOW THEM TO INTEGRATE INTO THE COMMUNITY. A WIDE RANGE OF SKILLS SUCH AS COMMUNITY ADJUSTMENT, HOME MANAGEMENT, FUNCTIONAL ACADEMICS AND SOCIAL, HEALTH AND SAFETY SKILLS ARE TAUGHT ON A DAILY BASIS. INDIVIDUALS PARTICIPATING IN THIS TRAINING ARE ENCOURAGED TO LEARN AND PRACTICE APPROPRIATE SOCIAL BEHAVIORS AND SELF-DETERMINATION. SERVING APPROXIMATELY 50 ADULTS, 241 DAYS PER YEAR, MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY.
