VIVER BRASIL HONORS BRAZIL'S AFRICAN LEGACY THROUGH BOLD CONTEMPORARY DANCE THEATER AND INCREASES AWARENESS OF THE RICH HISTORY OF AFRO-BRAZILIAN DANCE AND MUSIC THROUGH PERFORMANCES, RESIDENCIES, LECTURES, INTERACTIVE WORKSHOPS, AN ANNUAL CULTURAL IMMERSION TRAVEL PROGRAM TO SALVADOR, BAHIA, AND ARTS EDUCATION PROGRAMS THAT ENGAGE A VARIETY OF COMMUNITIES FROM YOUTH TO ADULTS AND SENIORS. VIVER BRASIL WEEKLY COMMUNITY CLASS WAS MAINTAINED ONLINE AND GARNERED A WORLD-WIDE PRESENCE WITH AN AVERAGE OF 45 STUDENTS PER WEEKLY CLASS. ADDITIONALLY VIVER BRASIL CONTINUED TO TO PROGRAM ITS INTENSIVE DANCE WORKSHOP SERIES 4 TIMES DURING 2021 AS AN ONLINE PROGRAM OFFERING.
VIVER BRASIL PRODUCED AN ONLINE PERFORMANCE VIDEO WITH BEETS AND PRODUCE INC WHICH WAS FILMED BOTH IN LOS ANGELES AND SALVADOR, BAHIA, BRAZIL. THE VIDEO AND ADDITIONAL DANCE WORKSHOP PROVIDED ON ZOOM REACHED 15000 + COUNTY OF LOS ANGELE STUDENTS, TEACHERS AND ADMINISTRATORS.
