THE MUSEUM PROVIDES RESTORATION, PRESERVATION AND EXHIBITION OF AIRCRAFT AND AVIATION ARTIFACTS IN NORTHWEST ARKANSAS. THE ARKANSAS AIR AND MILITARY MUSEUM IS HOME TO SOME OF THE NATION'S ONLY SURVIVING VARIETIES OF AIRCRAFT AND SOME WORLD-FAMOUS REPLICAS. THE MUSEUM'S HISTORICAL DISPLAYS SPAN THE ENTIRE AGE OF AVIATION FROM FAYETTEVILLE'S FIRST DAYS IN FLIGHT THROUGH THE GOLDEN AGE OF AIR RACING, BOTH WORLD WARS, THE VIETNAM CONFLICT AND INTO THE FUTURE WITH THE SPACE SHUTTLE PROGRAM.
