THE JAMES E. CLYBURN SCHOLARSHIP AND RESEARCH FOUNDATION WAS FORMED TO SECURE FUNDS FOR WORTHY SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENTS DESIRING TO FURTHER THEIR EDUCATION BEYOND HIGH SCHOOL. THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDED $1,000 CASH SCHOLARSHIPS AND A LAPTOP COMPUTER WITH SOFTWARE TO 175 GRADUATING HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS PLANNING TO ATTEND COLLEGES AND UNIVERSITIES.
