OUTPATIENT AMBULATORY MEDICAL CARE SERVICES - WE PROVIDE MEDICAL CARE AND TREATMENT TO PATIENTS. WE PROVIDE PRIMARY CARE, HIV SPECIALTY CARE, ADDICTION AND SUBSTANCE USE DISORDERS, CHRONIC CARE MANAGEMENT, REMOTE PATIENT MONITORING AND MORE. THESE SERVICES ARE BILLED TO THIRD PARTY INSURANCE COMPANIES, GRANT-FUNDED (IF APPROPRIATED), SELF-PAY PATIENT RESPONSBILITY OR THROUGH OUR SLIDING SCALE DISCOUNT PROGRAM. HOWEVER, A MAJORITY OF THE FUNDS FOR MEDICAL CARE COMES FROM THIRD PARTY INSURANCE BILLING.
GRANT-FUNDED PROGRAMS - WE HAD 3 GRANTS IN 2021: RYAN WHITE, MECKLENBURG COUNTY PREP PROGRAM, AND CARES ACT. RYAN WHITE GRANT IS FOR THE MEDICAL CARE AND TREATMENT OF HIV POSITIVE PATIENTS. PREP GRANT IS FOR THE MEDICAL CARE AND MEDICATIONS FOR THE PREVENTION OF HIV IN HIGH-RISK HIV-NEGATIVE PATIENTS. CARES ACT GRANT IS A COVID-19 RELATED GRANT TO HELP THE CLINIC AND THE PATIENTS GET THE PROPER PPE TO PREVENT THE SPREAD OF COVID-19 INFECTIONS.
340B PRESCRIPTION DRUG PROGRAM - AS A RYAN WHITE GRANT-FUNDED ENTITY, WE PROVIDE MEDICAL CARE SERVICES AND TREATMENT SUPPORT AT LITTLE TO NO COST TO UNDERSERVED, LOW-INCOME HIV POSITIVE INDIVIDUALS AND THEIR CAREGIVERS. ELIGIBLE 340B PRESCRIPTIONS ARE DISPENSED AT CONTRACTED PHARMACIES AND THE COST SAVINGS GENERATED BECOME OUR PROGRAM INCOME.
