THE MEETING STREET SCHOLARSHIP FUND (MSSF) EMPOWERS EACH ELIGIBLE STUDENT IN THE STATE OF SOUTH CAROLINA WITH A COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIP OF UP TO $10,000 PER YEAR (UP TO $40,000 IN TOTAL.) IN 2022, THE PROGRAM EXPANDED FROM SERVING CHARLESTON COUNTY TO SERVING EIGHT ADDITIONAL COUNTIES IN THE PEE DEE REGION IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE DARLA MOORE FOUNDATION. THE FOUNDATION PROVIDED SCHOLARSHIPS AND EDUCATIONAL SUPPORT TO 278 STUDENTS IN 2022. THE PROGRAM SERVES PUBLIC SCHOOL STUDENTS WHO LIVE IN ONE OF NINE ELIGIBLE COUNTIES, MEET SIMPLE ACADEMIC PERFORMANCE AND FINANCIAL NEED CRITERIA, AND ATTEND ONE OF SOUTH CAROLINA'S COLLEGES WITH A GRADUATION RATE OVER 50%. THE FOUNDATION MAINTAINS SIGNIFICANT INVOLVEMENT WITH MSSF RECIPIENTS BY PROVIDING ONGOING RESOURCES THEY NEED TO GRADUATE FROM COLLEGE AND ENTER THE WORKFORCE. CONTINUED ON STATEMENT 15.
