ESTABLISHED IN 1983, THE ALPHA DELTA PI FOUNDATION ACCEPTS TAX DEDUCTIBLE GIFTS TO PROVIDE ESSENTIAL RESOURCES FOR ALPHA DELTA PI SORORITY'S EDUCATIONAL, LEADERSHIP AND PHILANTHROPIC ACTIVITIES. THE FOUNDATION FUNDS A VARIETY OF OPPORTUNITIES THAT BENEFIT ALPHA DELTA PI SORORITY AND ITS MEMBERS AS WELL AS THE PRESERVATION OF MONUMENTS AND MEMORIALS THAT ARE UNIQUE TO ALPHA DELTA PI SORORITY'S PLACE IN HISTORY.

THE ALPHA DELTA PI FOUNDATION IS PROUD TO AWARD APPROXIMATELY 150 COMPETITIVE ACADEMIC SCHOLARSHIPS EACH YEAR WITH A TOTAL OF MORE THAN $250,000 IN SCHOLARSHIPS. AWARD AMOUNTS VARY UP TO $5,000, AND SCHOLARSHIPS ARE AVAILABLE FOR UNDERGRADUATE, GRADUATE, AND CONTINUING EDUCATION STUDY.
EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMMING WAS PROVIDED BY GRANTS MADE FROM THE ALPHA DELTA PI FOUNDATION FOR CHAPTER MEMBERS, ADVISORS, AND ALUMNAE ATTENDING COLLEGIATE LEADERSHIP SUMMIT, TALK ABOUT IT TUESDAY WEBINARS, AND OTHER VIRTUAL LEADERSHIP PROGRAMS. ADDITIONALLY, RESOURCES FOR OUR UNDERGRADUATE MEMBERS ARE MADE AVAILABLE FOR THE CONTINUED FIGHT TO PREVENT HAZING, TO SUPPORT MENTAL WELLNESS, AND IN PROGRAMS TO ADDRESS SEXUAL AND RELATIONSHIP MISCONDUCT, BINGE DRINKING, HAZING, AND BULLYING.
THE CLASPED HANDS FUND GRANT PROVIDES EMERGENCY FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO ALUMNAE WHO FIND THEMSELVES IN FINANCIAL DISTRESS. NEED AND CIRCUMSTANCES DETERMINE THE AMOUNT OF EACH GRANT. IN 2021-22, THE FOUNDATION GRANTED FUNDS TO 7 INDIVIDUALS WHO WERE FACING FINANCIAL DISTRESS.THE ABIGAIL DAVIS EMERGENCY GRANT FUND PROVIDES GRANTS OF UP TO $3,500 FOR SHORT-TERM ASSISTANCE TO COLLEGIANS WHO ARE EXPERIENCING UNFORESEEN FINANCIAL DIFFICULTIES. GRANTS MUST BE USED FOR TUITION, BOOKS, OR SCHOOL FEES. GRANTS MAY NOT BE USED FOR SORORITY DUES OR ROOM AND BOARD. THE FOUNDATION PROVIDED 3 ONE-TIME EMERGENCY GRANTS TO UNDERGRADUATE MEMBERS TO ENSURE THEY COULD CONTINUE THEIR EDUCATIONAL EXPERIENCE.
