TO BRING BLACK-ELECTED OFFICIALS, IMPORTANT PARTNERS AND THOSE INTERESTED IN PUBLIC POLICY TOGETHER FROM ACROSS THE STATE TO PARTICIPATE IN A CONFERENCE FOCUSED ON SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC EMPOWERMENT AND PUBLIC POLICY INITIATIVES THAT IMPROVES THE AFRICAN-AMERICAN COMMUNITY.

Part 3 - Line 4a

OUR ORGANIZATION ASSIST BLACK COMMUNITIES ACROSS NORTH CAROLINA BY CONNECTING ISSUES IN THEIR COMMUNITY TO THE INFORMED ADVOCACY PROCESS. THE NORTH CAROLINA BLACK ALLIANCE HAS PRODUCED SEVERAL PROGRAMS TO HELP RESIDENTS UNDERSTAND HOW POLICIES, LEGISLATION AND ELECTED OFFICIALS IMPACT THEIR EVERYDAY LIVES. THE ISSUES OF ENVIRONMENTAL RACISM, HEALTHCARE, ECONOMICS, EDUCATION, CRIME AND JUSTICE ARE RESEARCHED AND RESPONDED TO BY OUR ORGANIZATION.


AS A BRIDGE-BUILDER AND TRUSTED MESSENGER, NORTH CAROLINA BLACK ALLIANCE COLLABORATES WITH KEY COMMUNITY PARTNERS AND OUR MEMBERS TO BUILD POWER THROUGH OUR ENVIRONMENTAL AND CLIMATE JUSTICE WORK.
