SICKLE CELL SCREENING AND AWARENESS PROGRAMS, TRAITS COUNSELING SERVICES COORDINATION WITH THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT (DHEC) AND PHYSICIANS TO IDENTIFY NEWBORNS WITH SICKLE CELL AND COUNSEL PARENTS/GUARDIANS PROVIDE SUPPORT FINANCIALLY AND EMOTIONALLY TO THOSE INDIVIDUALS AND THEIR FAMILIES DIAGNOSED WITH THE SICKLE CELL DISEASE.
