UCP OF CENTRAL FLORIDA EMPOWERS CHILDREN WITH AND WITHOUT DISABILITIES TO ACHIEVE THEIR POTENTIAL BY PROVIDING INDIVIDUALIZED SUPPORT, EDUCATION AND THERAPY IN AN INCLUSIVE ENVIRONMENT.

UCP OF CENTRAL FLORIDA'S LARGEST PROGRAM IS ITS INCLUSIVE CHARTER SCHOOLS FOR STUDENTS WITH AND WITHOUT SPECIAL NEEDS. UCP OPERATES EIGHT SCHOOLS SERVING APPROXIMATELY 1,600 PRE-K - 12TH GRADE STUDENTS IN ORANGE, OSCEOLA, AND SEMINOLE COUNTIES. SOME OF ITS RECENT ACCOMPLISHMENTS INCLUDE 81% OF STUDENTS GRADUATE THE PRE-K PROGRAM AND GO ONTO A MAINSTREAM CLASSROOM, 84% OF STUDENTS ACCOMPLISHED OVER 75% OF THEIR INDIVIDUAL EDUCATION PLAN GOALS.
UCP OF CENTRAL FLORIDA'S SECOND LARGEST PROGRAM IS THE PEDIATRIC THERAPY PROGRAM. UCP PROVIDES PHYSICAL, SPEECH AND OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY TO CHILDREN, BIRTH TO AGE 21 YEARS, WITH A VARIETY OF DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES AND DELAYS. THE THERAPY PROGRAM TAKES PLACE AT EIGHT CAMPUSES THROUGHOUT CENTRAL FLORIDA. 81% OF THERAPY CLIENTS ACHIEVED AT LEAST 75% OF THEIR THERAPY GOALS.
THE THIRD LARGEST PROGRAM AT UCP OF CENTRAL FLORIDA IS OTHER EDUCATION PROGRAMS. THIS INCLUDES CHILDCARE, BEFORE AND AFTER CARE PROGRAMS, MCKAY SCHOLARSHIP AND SUMMER ENRICHMENT PROGRAMS PROVIDED AT EIGHT CAMPUSES THROUGHOUT THE CENTRAL FLORIDA AREA.
