Part 3 - Line 4a
(1) THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES ADULT HABILITATION SERVICES TO ADULTS WITH DISABILITIES IN THE TUSCALOOSA AREA. THIS INVOLVES TEACHING AND COACHING ADULTS IN LIFE SKILLS. (2) THEY ALSO PROVIDE/SPONSOR THERAPY AND TEACHING SERVICES TO DISABLED CHILDREN (CEREBRAL PALSY, SPINAL BIFIDA, ETC.). THE SERVICES ARE ADMINISTERERED THROUGH VARIOUS AGENCIES AS WELL AS THEIR OWN STAFF. THESE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED ON A REGULAR BASIS FOR COUNTIES IN THE WEST ALABAMA AREA. THEY ALSO CONDUCT A SUMMER PROGRAM.(3) THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES AFTERNOON SITTER CARE AND AIDE RESPITE SERVICES FOR CHILDREN AND ADULTS WITH DISABILITIES IN THE WEST ALABAMA AREA TO ASSIST WORKING FAMILIES IN HELPING TO CARE FOR THEIR DEPENDENTS WITH DISABILITIES.
