GLOBAL PHILANTHROPY PARTNERSHIP ("GPP") PROMOTES PHILANTHROPY AND SOLUTIONS TO ADDRESS GLOBAL DEVELOPMENT AND ENVIRONMENTAL ISSUES. GPP ALSO OPERATES AS A FISCAL SPONSOR FOR SEVERAL PROJECTS INCLUDING ARTISAN GRAIN COLLABORATIVE, THE GREEN INFRASTRUCTURE LEADERSHIP EXCHANGE, THE ILLINOIS AGRI-FOOD ALLIANCE (ILAFA), JUSTICE THROUGH FOOD, CHICAGO BREAD CLUB, EQUITABLE TRANSPORTATION FUND, WORLDVIEW SOLUTIONS, AND SUSTAINABLE CONSUMPTION RESEARCH AND ACTION INITIATIVE.

THE EL COMMUNITY PROJECT CONDUCTS AN OPEN ENROLLMENT PROGRAM EACH YEAR. PARTICIPANTS LEARN TO APPLY THE PRACTICES AND PRINCIPLES OF EMERGENT LEARNING WITH OTHERS IN A COLLABORATIVE SETTING. THE PROGRAM BEGINS VIRTUALLY OVER FOUR MONTHS AND CULMINATES WITH A DAY AND HALF IN-PERSON MEETING. PARTICIPANTS RANGE FROM EARLY TO LATE-CAREER PROFESSIONALS IN FOUNDATIONS, NONPROFITS AND CONSULTING ORGANIZATIONS SEEKING TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN THEIR INTERNAL ORGANIZATIONAL LEARNING CULTURES, SOCIAL CHANGE INITIATIVES AND NETWORKS OR CONSULTING PRACTICES. THE PROGRAM USES A MIX OF INTERACTIVE ALL-COHORT SESSIONS AND SMALLER COACHING GROUP SESSIONS REQUIRING PARTICIPANTS TO BRING THESE PRINCIPLES AND PRACTICES OF EMERGENT LEARNING INTO THEIR ONGOING WORK. THE PROGRAM IS HIGHLY PARTICIPATORY IN NATURE. PARTICIPANTS LEARN EL BY APPLYING IT TO THEIR CURRENT WORK GOALS AND CHALLENGES AND REFLECTING ON THEIR EXPERIENCES WITH THEIR PEERS.
