EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC AND BUILDING PROFESSIONALS ON ENERGY EFFICIENCY AND ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY BUILDING THROUGH WORKSHOPS, EDUCATIONAL DIRECTORY WITH ARTICLES, NEWSLETTER, WEBSITE, EVENTS AND HOTLINE. GREEN BUILT ALLIANCE SERVED 300+ PEOPLE THROUGH EVENTS AND WORKSHOPS, APPROXIMATELY 100 LOW INCOME INDIVIDUALS IN DO-IT-YOURSELF ENERGY EFFICIENCY TRAININGS AND 150+ HOTLINE QUESTIONS ANSWERED AND COUNTLESS PEOPLE EDUCATED AT COMMUNITY EVENTS.
THE GREEN BUILT ALLIANCE SERVES AS AN ACTIVE MEMBER OF THE ENERGY INNOVATION TASK FORCE. THIS PARTNERSHIP BETWEEN THE CITY OF ASHEVILLE, BUNCOMBE COUNTY, DUKE ENERGY AND LOCAL PARTNERS WILL REDUCE LOCAL DEMAND FOR FOSSIL FUELS AND BUILD EFFICIENCY PROGRAMS.
