WE ARE AN ALTERNATIVE TO TRADITIONAL SHELTERS ADDRESSING OVERCROWDING. WE ADDRESS ABANDONMENT AND ABUSE BY PROVIDE PROTECTION, SHELTER, VETERINARY CARE AND REHABILITATION FOR LIFE OR UNTIL ADOPTION. WE PARTNER WITH KENNEL CLUBS,BREED RESCUE GROUPS, THE PUBLIC AND LOCAL SHELTERS

EACH YEAR WE HAVE INCREASED THE NUMBER AND KINDS OF ANIMALS RECEIVING CARE IN OUR SHELTERS AS WELL AS ANIMALS BEING MOVED THRU OUR SHELTERS FROM LOAL SHELTERS OR OTHER RESCUE SERVICES FOR ABUSED ANIMALS INTO SAFE HOME ENVIRONMENTS.WE CONTINUE TO DELIVER FOOD TO THE PETS OF MEALS ON WHEELS RECIPIENTS. WE RELY ON THAT PROGRAMS ELIGIBILITY STANDARDS AS OUR STANDARDS FOR ELIGIBILITY FOR SERVICES. THOSE COSTS ARE INCLUDED IN OUR FOOD COSTS AND NOT REPORTED SEPARATELY IN RECORDKEEPING.VOLUNTEERS CONTINUE TO PROVIDE EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS FOR CHILDREN TEACHING RESPONSIBLE PET OWNERSHIP AND COMPASSION. BECASUE OF THE INCREASING VARIETY OF ANIMALS PROTECTED IN OUR SHELTER, THE CHILDREN ENJOY THE PROGRAM MORE AND HAVE STRONGER OPPORTUNITY FOR LEARNING. THERE ARE NO COSTS FOR THIS PROGRAM. IT IS VOLUNTEER LED AND IMPLEMENTED.
