RALPH SCOTT LIFESERVICES, INC. PROVIDES INDIVIDUALIZED COMMUNITY LIVING SERVICES AND SUPPORT FOR PEOPLE WITH DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES. THESE SERVICES ARE DESIGNED TO PROMOTE SOUND HEALTH, DIGNITY, GROWTH, STABILITY AND COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT.

RSL PROVIDES INDIVIDUALIZED SERVICES AND RESIDENTIAL LIVING SUPPORTS FOR APPROXIMATELY 115 PEOPLE WITH INTELLECTUAL AND OTHER DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES IN ALAMANCE AND CASWELL COUNTIES. SERVICES INCLUDE SUPERVISION, TRANSPORTATION, COORDINATING MEDICAL APPOINTMENTS, AND DIRECT SUPPORT IN ACTIVITIES OF DAILY LIVING (BATHING, DRESSING, MEDICATIONS, MEALS, AND HYGIENE). INDIVIDUALS RECEIVE SUPPORTS TO HELP MAINTAIN RELATIONSHIPS AND CONNECTIONS WITH THE COMMUNITY; DEVELOP INTERESTS; BUILD NATURAL SUPPORTS; AND TO BE ACTIVE CITIZENS. LOCATIONS INCLUDE: 12 DDA HOMES, 5 ICF/MR HOMES, 2 HOMES SUPPORTING INDIVIDUALS WITH DUAL DIAGNOSIS OF MENTAL ILLNESS AND MENTAL RETARDATION,AND 4 SUPPORTED LIVING APARTMENTS THAT SUPPORT UP TO 15 ADULTS. SUPPORT ALSO INCLUDE IN-HOME SERVICES TO INDIVIDUALS WHO LIVE IN THEIR OWN APARTMENTS OR HOMES.
OFFERS AN ADULT DAY PROGRAM TO PROVIDE SUPPORTS TO APPROXIMATELY 70 INDIVIDUALS WITH INTELLECTUAL OR OTHER DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES AND SERVES BOTH INDIVIDUALS FROM THE COMMUNITY AND OUR RESIDENTIAL PROGRAMS. OPPORTUNITIES ARE OFFERED TO SOCIALIZE, EXERCISE, COMMUNICATION, EXPAND LEISURE INTERESTS, ARTS AND MUSIC, AND TO TEACH DAILY LIVING AND WORK SKILLS. PROGRAM PARTICIPANTS ARE ENCOURAGED TO BE AN ACTIVE PART OF THEIR COMMUNITY AND EVEN VOLUNTEER IN SPECIAL PROGRAMS AND MEALS ON WHEELS.
