AS A MEMBER OF THE WV COALITION TO END HOMELESSNESS AND THE NATIONAL MINORITY AIDS COUNCIL, CARITAS HOUSE PROVIDES CASE MANAGEMENT SERVICES TO CLIENTS RESIDING IN 10 COUNTIES IN NORTH CENTRAL WV. CARITAS HOUSE ALSO PROVIDES PERMANENT SUPPORTIVE HOUSING FOR CHRONICALLY HOMELESS INDIVIDUALS WITH DISABILLITITES INCLUDING HIV/AIDS AND SUBSTANCE ABUSE PROVIDING THE OPPORTUNITY FOR PARTICIPANTS TO IMPROVE QUALITY OF LIFE AND GAIN INDEPENDENCE. SERVICES ALSO INCLUDE MONTHLY ASSSISTANCE THROUGH FOOD PANTRY. HYGIENE SUPPLIES, CELANING PRODUCTS, AND EMERGENCY SURVIVAL GEAR. CARITAS HOUSE STAFF OFFER PREVENTION EDUCATION PRESENTATIONS REGARDING RISKS OF INFECTION, TESTING PROTOCOL, AND THE LATEST IN TREATMENT OPTIONS AND HIV OR HEP C TESTING TO INDIVIDUALS OR GROUPS IN THE COMMUNITY.
