TO PROVIDE BETTERMENT FOR ANIMALS IN MARSHALL COUNTY, WEST VIRGINIA, THROUGH THE OPERATIONS OF AN ANIMAL SHELTER AND A LOW COST SPAY/NEUTER CLINIC.

THE MARSHALL COUNTY ANIMAL RESCUE LEAGUE OPERATES THE MARSHALL COUNTY ANIMAL SHELTER, LOCATED IN MOUNDSVILLE, WEST VIRGINIA. OPERATING THE MARSHALL COUNTY ANIMAL SHELTER INCLUDES THE HOUSING, DAILY CARE AND MEDICAL TREATMENT OF THE ANIMALS AT THE SHELTER. THE GOAL IS TO FIND HOMES FOR THE ANIMALS HOUSED AT THE SHELTER THROUGH ADOPTION BY LOCAL RESIDENTS. ALL EFFORTS ARE MADE TO KEEP ADOPTION COSTS AS LOW AS POSSIBLE TO PLACE HOUSED ANIMALS IN TO LOCAL HOMES OF RESIDENTS DESIRING THE COMPANIONSHIP OF PETS.


THE MARSHALL COUNTY ANIMAL RESCURE LEAGUE OPERATES A LOW COST SPAY/NEUTER CLINIC. THE PURPOSE OF THE CLINIC IS TO PROVIDE AN AFFORDABLE ALTERNATIVE TO LOW INCOME RESIDENTS WHO NEED TO HAVE THEIR PETS SPAYED AND NEUTERED. THE ULIMATE GOAL IS TO HELP CONTROL THE PET POPULATION AND LOWER THE NUMBER OF STRAY PETS IN THE AREA. THE CLINIC OFFERS LOW COST MEDICINES TO ELIGIBLE CITIZENS AND OTHER PROCEDURES, SUCH AS RABIES SHOTS. THE CLINIC ALSO PERFORMS SPAYS/NEUTERS OF ANIMALS THAT ARE ADOPTED FROM THE MARSHALL COUNTY ANIMAL SHELTER AND PROVIDES MEDICAL TREATMENT FOR ANIMALS WHILE HOUSED AT THE SHELTER.
