SCOTTS RUN SETTLEMENT HOUSE PROVIDES A VARIETY OF SERVICES PROVIDING FOR THE BASIC NEEDS OF OUR DISENFRANCHISED COMMUNITY MEMEBRS AND OFFERS VITAL SERVICES TO SENIOR CITIZENS. WE PROVIDE FOR THE BASIC NEEDS OF OUR NEIGHBORS IN NEED VIA: FOOD PANTRY WHICH PROVIDES ABOUT A WEEKS WORTH OF FOOD FOR CLIENTS INCLUDING PERSONAL HYGIENNE ITEMS AND HOUSEHOLD PRODUCTS BABY PANTRY WHICH PROVIDES FAMILIES IN NEED WITH DIAPERS, WIPES, BABY FOOD AND FORMULA AS THEY ARE AVAIABLE BACK PACK FEEDING PROGRAM NOW SERVING SEVERAL HUNDRED CHILDREN IN MANY SCHOOLS IN MONONGALIA COUNTY BY SENDING HOME A BAG OF FOOD FOR THE WEEKEND SO THAT NO CHILD WILL GO HUNGRY BETWEEN LUNCH ON FRIDAY AND BREAKFAST ON MONDAY HOME REPAIR OFFERS NO COST HOME REPAIRS SO THAT THOSE IN NEED ARE LIVING IN SAFE HOUSING SEASONAL OUTREACH PROGRAMS OFFERS EVERYTHING FROM FULLY STOCKED BACKPACKS TO THANKSGIVING, EASTER AND CHRISTMAS BASKETS.
