ORGANIZATION PROMOTES THE STUDY OF THE NORTH AMERICAN WEST THROUGH ORGANIZING AN ANNUAL CONFERENCE AND SUPPORTING TWO JOURNALS: THE WESTERN HISTORICAL QUARTERLY AND THE MONTANA: THE MAGAZINE OF WESTERN HISTORY. MEMBERSHIP NUMBERS HAVE BEEN AROUND 950 THIS YEAR AND ARE MORE CURRENT THAN EVER BEFORE AS WE ARE USING NEW MEMBERSHIP MANAGEMENT SOFTWARE.
