INTERPRETIVE MATERIALS AND PROGRAM OPERATIONS - THIS PROGRAM INCLUDES THE DISTRIBUTION AND SALE OF HISTORICAL AND EDUCATIONAL MATERIALS THAT INTERPRET THE GATEWAY ARCH NATIONAL PARK (F/K/A JEFFERSON NATIONAL EXPANSION MEMORIAL), ULYSSES S. GRANT NATIONAL HISTORIC SITE, MISSISSIPPI NATIONAL RIVER AND RECREATION AREA, MISSOURI NATIONAL RECREATIONAL RIVER, LITTLE ROCK CENTRAL HIGH SCHOOL NATIONAL HISTORIC SITE, VOYAGEURS NATIONAL PARK, STE. GENEVIEVE NATIONAL HISTORICAL PARK, PRESIDENT WILLIAM JEFFERSON CLINTON BIRTHPLACE HOME NATIONAL HISTORIC SITE, THE NATIONAL PARK SYSTEM, AND OTHER AREAS OR FACILITIES DEVELOPED BY OR IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE NATIONAL PARK SERVICE AND OTHER GOVERNMENTAL AGENCIES. ALL MATERIALS ARE APPROVED BY THE NATIONAL PARK SERVICE AND OTHER GOVERNMENTAL PARTNERS WHICH DETERMINE THEIR APPROPRIATENESS. THUS, THE PROGRAM FULFILLS THE ASSOCIATION'S EXEMPT PURPOSE TO ASSIST WITH PARK INTERPRETATION AND INFORMATION.
PROVIDES GRANTS AND DEVELOPS EDUCATIONAL MATERIALS AND PROGRAMS TO SUPPLEMENT PARK AND PUBLIC LAND INTERPRETIVE PROGRAMS. THE ASSOCIATION'S WORK IS GUIDED BY MEMORANDA OF AGREEMENT WITH THE NATIONAL PARK SERVICE, US ARMY CORPS OF ENGINEERS AND OTHER ENTITIES.
