Describe the Organization's Program Activity:
MUSEUM OPERATIONS AND COLLECTIONS - THE MUSEUM IS OPEN 363 DAYS OF THE YEAR AND SERVED 169,772 ONSITE GUESTS IN 2021. THE OPERATIONS INCLUDED INTERPRETING THE HISTORY AND NATURAL LIFE OF THE MISSISSIPPI RIVER AND DUBUQUE THROUGH DIVERSE EXHIBITS AT 2 SITES IN DUBUQUE. THE COLLECTIONS CONSIST OF 1,903 ANIMALS IN OUR LIVING COLLECTION AND 23,500 ARTIFACTS/OBJECTS AS WELL AS 4,400 LINEAR FEET OF ARCHIVAL MATERIAL IN OUR HISTORICAL COLLECTION. MANY OF THESE COLLECTIONS ARE ON DISPLAY IN THE 3 BUILDINGS ON BOTH SITES INCLUDING THE LIBRARY WHICH SERVES AS A RESEARCH SITE.STATEMENT CONTINUED ON SCHEDULE O.EDUCATION - THE MUSEUM PROVIDED SPECIAL PROGRAMMING FOR 9,105 STUDENT GROUPS, 8,677 ADULT GROUPS AND 5,601 PEOPLE OFF-SITE IN 2021.
