THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES BASIC AND ADVANCED WORKSHOPS AND COURSES IN CONFLICT MANAGEMENT SKILLS INCLUDING MEDIATION, FACILITATION, CONFLICT MANAGEMENT SKILLS, COMMUNICATION, PROBLEM SOLVING, ETHICS, MANAGING EEO DISPUTES, AND MORE. NVMS'S BASIC MEDIATION PROCESSES AND SKILLS TRAINING LEAD TO MEDIATION CERTIFICATION BY THE SUPREME COURT OF VIRGINIA. ADDITIONAL COURSES ALLOW MEDIATORS TO RE-CERTIFY AND RECEIVE CONTINUING MEDIATION EDUCATION (CME) CREDITS, AS WELL AS CONTINUING LEGAL EDUCATION (CLE) CREDITS, AND SOCIETY FOR HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT (SHRM) CREDITS. IN 2021, DUE TO COVID19, ALL TRAININGS WERE DELIVERED VIRTUALLY.

RESTORATIVE JUSTICE: THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES RESTORATIVE JUSTICE (RJ) CONFERENCES AND CIRCLES FOR YOUTH IN PUBLIC SCHOOLS AND THOSE REFERRED BY JUVENILE COURTS AND POLICE.
