TO PROMOTE THE HIGH STANDARDS OF THE INDEPENDENT AUTOMOBILE DEALERS OF VIRGINIA THROUGH CONTINUOUS REPRESENTATION BEFORE THE MOTOR VEHICLE DEALER BOARD AND THE VIRGINIA LEGISLATURE FOR OVER 1,050 MEMBERS. THE ASSOCIATION HAS AN ANNUAL CONVENTION WITH CONTINUING EDUCATION SESSIONS AND OFFERS OTHER EDUCATIONAL SEMINARS ON TOPICS RELATED TO THE INDEPENDENT AUTO DEALER INDUSTRY. THE ASSOCIATION ALSO PROVIDES A BI-MONTHLY 2-DAY PRE-LICENSING COURSE FOR THE STATE LICENSING BOARD AS WELL AS A 6 HOUR ONLINE LICENSE RECERTIFICATION COURSE FOR VIRGINIA INDEPENDENT AUTO DEALERS. A QUARTERLY MAGAZINE, AN ANNUAL DIRECTORY, MONTHLY NEWS BULLETINS, AS WELL AS A WEBSITE KEEP MEMBERS AND CONSUMERS APPRISED OF CHANGES IN REGULATIONS PLUS OTHER INDUSTRY UPDATES THAT AFFECT THE INDEPENDENT AUTO DEALER.
