MISSION:

SENIOR LIVING CHOICES OF VIRGINIA, INC. IS A NON-PROFIT, NON-STOCK CORPORATION, EXISTING UNDER THE LAWS OF THE COMMONWEALTH OF VIRGINIA. THE CORPORATION IS A CONTINUING CARE RETIREMENT COMMUNITY AS DEFINED BY THE CODE OF VIRGINIA, AS AMENDED, IN SEC. 38.2-4900, ET SEQ. THE CORPORATION WAS ORGANIZED UNDER SECTION 501(C)(3) OF THE INTERNAL REVENUE CODE. THE CORPORATION OWNS AND OPERATES A RESIDENTIAL AND HEALTH CARE CENTER KNOWN AS BRANDERMILL WOODS FOR THE AGED. THE COMMUNITY CONSISTS OF 275 COTTAGES AND CLUB HOMES FOR INDEPENDENT SENIOR LIVING, 59 ASSISTED LIVING UNITS FOR THE ELDERLY, AND A NURSING FACILITY WITH 60 SKILLED AND INTERMEDIATE-CARE NURSING BEDS, TOGETHER WITH A CLUBHOUSE CONTAINING COMMON AREAS, ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICES, A RESTAURANT, LOUNGE, BEAUTY SALON/BARBER, EXERCISE ROOM, RECREATIONAL FACILITIES, AND OTHER AMENITIES.

MISSION:

ACCESSIA HEALTH PROVIDES FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE, EDUCATION AND OTHER SERVICES TO INDIVIDUALS WHO COULD NOT OTHERWISE AFFORD THEIR HEALTHCARE.

MEMBERSHIP AT A COUNTRY CLUB WITH GOLF, TENNIS, POOL, FITNESS AND CLUBHOUSE FACILITIES.

THE BRIGHTPOINT COMMUNITY COLLEGE FOUNDATION ACQUIRES VITAL RESOURCES THAT ADVANCE THE COLLEGE'S MISSION TO PROVIDE SUPERIOR, AFFORDABLE, AND ACCESSIBLE EDUCATION TO MEMBERS OF THE COMMUNITY. THE FOUNDATION SEEKS THE TIME, TALENT, AND FINANCIAL SUPPORT OF INDIVIDUALS, BUSINESSES AND PRIVATE FOUNDATIONS TO HELP FUND STUDENT SUPPORT INITIATIVES SUCH AS SCHOLARSHIPS AND EMERGENCY FUNDS; ACADEMIC AND WORKFORCE PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT AND EXPANSION; AND OTHER CRITICAL STUDENT AND COLLEGE NEEDS.

The goal of this organization are the private foundations that make grants based on charitable endowments. Because of their endowments, they are focused primarily on grantmaking and generally do not actively raise funds or seek public financial support. These are the most common type of private foundation. They are generally endowed, usually from a single individual or family. Private foundations are considered family foundations if relatives or the original donor are still active on the board of trustees or in the operation of the foundation.

The goal of this organization are the nongovernmental, nonprofit organizations with funds (usually from a single source, such as an individual, family or corporation) and programs managed by its own trustees or directors, established to maintain or aid social, educational, religious or other charitable activities serving the common welfare, primarily through grantmaking.

MISSION:

The goal of this organization are the residential options exclusively for older adults who want to have a simpler, maintenance-free lifestyle and enjoy the company of peers with common interests, or who require a moderate amount of support in the activities of daily living to maintain independent living.

MISSION:

PROVIDE A CURRICULUM OF INTELLECTUALLY STIMULATING LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES FOR PERSONS FIFTY (50) YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER.

MISSION:

TO PROMOTE THE HIGH STANDARDS OF THE INDEPENDENT AUTOMOBILE DEALERS OF VIRGINIA THROUGH CONTINUOUS REPRESENTATION BEFORE THE MOTOR VEHICLES BOARD AND THE VIRGINIA LEGISLATURE FOR OVER 800 MEMBERS.

TO PROVIDE EQUITABLE EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES AND INCREASE CLASSROOM INNOVATION FOR CHESTERFIELD COUNTY PUBLIC SCHOOLS' STUDENTS.
